STEM After School Program

STEM4kids offers STEM based curriculum on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics. STEM4kids has been providing technology-focused After School Programs, Classes and Camps for students. We have loved and achieved every moment of it. Our Mission is to encourage and enhance learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and other subjects to ensure children receive excellent education that opens doors for them to new and better career opportunities and more fulfilling, successful lives. Scholarships are available.

 

STEM4kids prepares kids for their future and develops 21st Century Skills — a future that we can’t even imagine.  Instead of having kids memorize facts that may be obsolete by the time they graduate, we teach them to find information and then use it to innovate new world around them.


After a full day of school, kids need a chance to choose what they want to do. Our programs provide a variety of activities for children to experience each day, including:

Homework & Academic Enrichment
 

we understand the importance of providing a structured and supportive environment for children to complete their homework and academic tasks. That's why we have dedicated homework time built into our After School Program, Monday through Friday, where children spend one hour focusing on their homework and academic progress under the guidance of our experienced staff. Our staff not only ensures that homework is completed, but also provides individualized support and assistance where needed to help children succeed in their studies. This not only helps children stay on top of their academic responsibilities, but also allows parents to have more quality time with their children and focus on other activities outside of school. Additionally, our staff also communicates with parents on a regular basis to update them on their child's academic progress and any areas of concern.

30 Fit
 

A time for all children to have access to 30 minutes of physical activity. Research shows that children need 30 - 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity to establish a healthy lifestyle.  Children can get their heart beating and muscles moving while 30 minutes break for playing outside.

ENRICHMENT CLASSES
 

we understand the importance of providing children with a structured routine to help them channel their energy in a productive way. That's why we offer a variety of enrichment classes throughout the week, from Monday to Friday, covering a range of beginner to advanced level skills. These classes are included in our program fee and enrollment is at the discretion of the parents.

This allows parents to avoid the hassle of driving their children to separate places for different activities.

PICK UP FROM SCHOOL
 

We take great pride in the reliability and trustworthiness of our pickup services. Unlike other after-school programs that outsource pickups to cab companies, our dedicated staff personally picks up each child from school.  We understand the importance of keeping our parents informed, so as soon as your child is picked up, we send you a text notification. We serve all USD schools. See list of schools here. If you don't see your child's school listed here, pl. make sure to ask us when you book a call.

FRESHLY prepared snacks/meal

we understand the importance of providing children with a hot, nutritious snack/meal after a long day at school. That's why our after-school program includes a daily snack/meal, freshly prepared by our staff and served to children immediately upon their arrival at our centers. We believe that a well-nourished child is a happy and healthy child, and we take pride in our commitment to providing the best possible snack/meal options for our students.

Why Robotics?

Robotics is increasingly being considered as the fourth “R” of learning, “Reading, wRriting and aRithmatic” that modern-day students must understand to succeed in a highly competitive, technology-driven world. Robotics integrates all STEM fields in way no other subject can cover. Robotics is the mother of all subjects. It integrates mechanical, electrical, electronics, control engineering, computer science, technology, math and science.
