Overview of the Week

⭐ Bottom Line

The Little Builders Camp at STEM4Kids is a full-day camp for children ages 5–10 who love to build, tinker, and figure out how things work. Mornings are dedicated to grade-leveled academics — math and English in small groups matched to your child's grade — so campers stay sharp over the summer. In the afternoons, builders dive into LEGO® construction, creative building challenges, and maker projects, discovering how gears, wheels, and simple machines bring their creations to life. Located at our Cupertino and San Jose campuses, this camp is perfect for families in Cupertino, Monta Vista, West San Jose, Saratoga, and Los Gatos looking for a full day of reliable care and genuine STEM learning.

About the Camp

In the Little Builders Camp, children design, build, and test their own LEGO® creations through guided challenges and open-ended building. Along the way they explore real engineering and physical-science ideas in a way that feels like play:

Engineering & design — planning, building, testing, and improving their creations
Simple machines — discovering gears, pulleys, levers, wheels, and axles
Problem-solving — tackling "maker challenges" with creative, out-of-the-box thinking
Teamwork & communication — building in pairs and sharing their ideas

Projects are matched to each child's age and skill, so younger builders and older builders are both challenged at the right level.
