Overview of the Week

⭐ Bottom Line

The Young Speakers Camp at STEM4Kids is a full-day camp for children ages 5–10 who are ready to find their voice. Mornings are dedicated to grade-leveled academics — math and English in small groups matched to your child's grade — keeping skills sharp through the summer. Afternoons are all about communication: storytelling, presenting, and fun confidence-building games that help kids speak clearly and stand tall in front of others. Located at our Cupertino and San Jose campuses, this camp is a great fit for families in Cupertino, Monta Vista, West San Jose, Sunnyvale, and Cambrian Park who want their child to grow into a confident, articulate communicator — a skill that pays off in school and beyond.

About the Camp

In the Young Speakers Camp, children build real communication skills through playful, low-pressure practice. Each afternoon they take a small, fun step toward speaking with confidence:

Speaking skills — projecting their voice, slowing down, and speaking clearly
Storytelling & structure — organizing ideas with a beginning, middle, and end
Confidence & presence — body language, eye contact, and standing tall
Listening & teamwork — improv and group games that make speaking fun, not scary

Activities are scaled by age, so a 6-year-old and a 10-year-old are each met where they are.
