Summer is officially here — and Week 1 at STEM4Kids was everything we hoped for. Across our Bay Area summer camps in Cupertino, San Jose, and Los Gatos, kids ages 6–14 spent the week coding their own games, building and programming robots, and creating original works of art. Take a look at the highlights:
A Look Inside Week 1
From the very first morning, the energy was contagious. Campers dove into hands-on projects, worked in teams, and lit up every time something they built actually worked. Here's what they got up to:
💻 Coding Camp
Our coders went from drag-and-drop Scratch projects all the way toward Python, building real games, animations, and apps they were proud to show their families. Beyond the code, they practiced problem-solving and logical thinking — skills that carry far beyond the screen.
🤖 Robotics Camp
In robotics, kids designed, built, and programmed their own robots, then put them to the test with engineering challenges and friendly robot battles. There's nothing quite like the moment a camper watches their robot complete a task they programmed themselves.
🎨 Art Camp
Our art campers explored drawing, painting, and creative projects that sparked imagination and built confidence — and they finished the week proudly holding the original pieces they created.
Why Hands-On STEM Matters
At STEM4Kids, we believe kids learn best by doing. When your child builds a game, programs a robot, or finishes a painting, they're not just having fun — they're developing focus, creativity, persistence, and the confidence to tackle hard problems. These are the skills that open doors to future opportunities, and they're built one hands-on project at a time.
That's why our coding, robotics, and art camps in the Bay Area stay small, hands-on, and project-based, with instructors who keep every camper engaged.
