About this camp
Build your own games in Scratch: six levels, from animating a name to arcade games. Every week continues from where your child left off. Nothing repeats.

Your child will learn to
- Design and code a playable video game from scratch
- Program with loops, conditionals, variables and events
- Build scoring, levels, timers and game states
- Share a finished game at the Friday showcase
By Friday your child will have a finished game they built themselves, one you can play at home.
The six levels
Six levels, four projects in each. Your child builds every project themselves, nothing is copied. Each camper works on a camp laptop, and their projects go home with them. Each level assumes the one before, so nothing repeats.

After ten years of camps we know there's no replacement for a good teacher, so we hire computer science students from universities across the country and train every one of them before camp starts. When your child learns from someone who loves the subject, they start to love it too.
